Any successful business needs to grow … and Midland Financial Solutions is no different, which is why we are currently on the look out for two new members of staff.
One of the jobs we are advertising for is a new role: we are searching for an experienced Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) to add to our growing team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, dynamic individual who can prove their track record of developing business. As any IFA knows, a key part of the job is the ability to build a client bank and have an immaculate compliance record. If clients are trusting their IFA with their money, they need to be sure it’s in the safest and most experienced hands, someone who is going to act at all times with their clients’ best interests at heart.
We are driving our business forward at Midland Financial Solutions and we would like our new IFA – whoever the successful candidate is – to help us as we progress into the future. Not only will they provide excellent client service and the best possible advice to customers across Derbyshire and the East Midlands, they will be the kind of person who ensures those vital relationships last.
Our successful IFA will be qualified to at least Level 4 diploma standard and must be prepared to work towards Chartered Financial Planner status – and we will fully support them in their studies.
We would also love our new IFA to bring some clients on board with them, but this is not an essential requirement.
And … secondly … we are also looking for an experienced Financial Services Administrator, to replace our staff member Claire England, who is moving on to pastures new.
The ideal candidate will be experienced and highly organised, and they will work closely with a Chartered Financial Planner to provide excellent client service and support from our Derby offices.
They should have experience of compiling client valuation reports and liaising directly with clients on a range of matters.
At Midland Financial Solutions we believe that excellent customer care is not only of the utmost importance to running a successful business, it’s simply common decency too. Accurate record keeping is also key to the role. Other duties will include making changes to client investments when asked to do so; liaising with legal and tax advisors and drafting Letters of Authority to send to clients.
