Kevin is also Managing Partner of Mabe Allen LLP Chartered Accountants with over 30 years experience. Kevin specialises in advising the SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) sector on a range of commercial issues including acquisitions, strategic planning and disposals of businesses. A member of the Institute of Directors and a Governor of South East Derbyshire College, Kevin is currently President of the Nottingham, Derby & Lincoln Society of Chartered Accountants and is a member of the Audit, Corporate Finance and Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Kevin Edwards - DipPFS

Kevin qualified as an adviser in 1995 and has since attained the Chartered Institute of Insurance Diploma in Financial Planning (equivalent to the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate that it replaced). Kevin has previous experience of working as an IFA within both Solicitor and Accountancy practices and specialises in offering advice on areas such as Pensions, Investments, Inheritance Tax & Estate Planning and Long-Term Care. Kevin is a member of the Personal Finance Society and holds the following qualifications:

John Allen - FCA, FCCA, MABRP

John is also the Senior Partner at Mabe Allen LLP Chartered Accountants in Derby with over 40 years practice experience, joining Arthur Mabe to create Mabe Allen in 1973. A member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, he specialises in bankruptcy, audit, taxation and tax investigations. John is the Treasurer and a Past President of the Derby Society of Chartered Accountants.

David Allen - FCA, FCCA, BA (Hons)

An Old Reptonian, David gained an Honours Degree in Birmingham before training with Robson Rhodes in Leicester. Qualifying with distinction in 1991 he joined Mabe Allen LLP Chartered Accountants a year later concentrating on Audit, Accountancy and Taxation Areas. David has since developed information technology skills used in both internal and external systems installations. Based at Ripley he also acts as Treasurer for a local sports club.

Chris Hopkinson - FCA, FCCA

Chris is also a Partner at Mabe Allen LLP Chartered Accountants in Ripley and specialises in dealing with sole traders, partnerships and family companies including the preparation of accounts, audit and taxation. Chris is a Past President and current Committee Member of the Derby Society of Chartered Accountants.
